Abstract:

Provided is an information processing device comprising a control unit (150) for controlling operation of an autonomous operating body, the control unit controlling, on the basis of a detected trigger, a transition of a plurality of states pertaining to speech recognition processing via the autonomous operating body, and the plurality of states including a first starting state in which operation of the autonomous operating body is limited, and a second starting state in which the speech recognition processing is executed. Also provided is an information processing method including control of the operation of the autonomous operating body by a processor, the control further including controlling, on the basis of a detected trigger, transition of a plurality of states pertaining to speech recognition processing via the autonomous operating body, and the plurality of states including a first starting state in which operation of the autonomous operating body is limited, and a second starting state in which the speech recognition processing is executed.
