Abstract:
This information processing device is provided with: a detection unit which detects the three-dimensional position and orientation of an object in a three-dimensional region for instruction, which has an expanded or reduced relation to a three-dimensional region for observation which defines a virtual viewpoint and line of sight; a derivation unit which, in accordance with positional relation information, which indicates the relative positional relation between the observation three-dimensional region and the instruction three-dimensional region, derives the viewpoint and the line of sight corresponding to the detection results of the detection unit; and an acquisition unit which acquires a virtual viewpoint image, which is based on multiple images acquired by an imaging region contained in the observation three-dimensional region being imaged by multiple imaging devices, and which shows a subject as though the subject were observed from the viewpoint and line of sight derived by the derivation unit.
