Abstract:
Provided is an information processing device (201) suitable for properly setting a clock time. A preparation detecting section (202) in the information processing device (201) detects preparing operation such as supply of power. A control detecting section (203) detects controlling operation such as user’s input required for processing information by an information processing section (209). A frequency calculating section (205) calculates the recent frequencies of the preparing operation and the controlling operation in reference to the real time clock (121). A range determining section (206) obtains ranges in which the recent frequencies of the preparing operation and the controlling operation should exist, from the past history of the frequencies of the preparing operation and the controlling operation stored in a history storage section (204), and judges whether the frequencies are not deviated from the ranges. When deviated, a time and date setting section (208) conforms the time and date of the real time clock (121) to the real time and date. When not deviated, a history adding section (207) updates a history stored in the history storage section (204).
