Abstract:
An information processing device according to an aspect of the present invention is provided with: an acquisition unit that acquires installation information including information about an installation environment of a home electric appliance; and a transmission unit that transmits, to the home electric appliance, first start information for causing the home electric appliance to start a verification operation for verifying an output amount corresponding to the installation environment after the home electric appliance has been installed, wherein the transmission unit causes, on the basis of information that indicates a relationship between the installation environment and a verification amount indicating an output amount during the verification operation and that is obtained for each set of home electric appliance information including information enabling identification of the home electric appliance, the home electric appliance to start the verification operation by using the verification amount acquired from home electric appliance information and the installation information.
