Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an information processing system and an information processing method capable of rapidly performing analysis of semistructured data while preserving fault-tolerance of data without the information processing system having excess data therein. With regard to data for which a store request has been received from an external device, the present invention acquires the number which have been stored of the same and data structures thereof within the information processing system which have been set beforehand, refers to data structure management information for corresponding data in order to determine a data store unit in which the data is to be stored, instructs replica creation of the data related to the store request and transmission to the data store unit which is a store destination for the created replica, refers to the data structure management information, and with regard to the data stored in the data store unit in which any of the replicas have been stored, transmits an instruction, for performing a data operation, to a data structure operation unit, whereupon an analysis processing unit, in accordance with the content of an analysis request, performs analysis processing by way of either data stored in any of the data storage units after a data structure operation or data which have not been subject to a data structure operation.
