Abstract:
In order to accommodate a case in which an information processing device equipped with a plurality of operation modes is used, an information processing device 10 selects an operation mode in advance (S0), registers a product and calculates a settlement amount in the selected operation mode, and generates settlement data (S1). The information processing device then generates a two-dimensional code that includes the settlement data and information indicating the operation mode of the host device (S2), and outputs a display of the two-dimensional code on a prescribed display unit (S3). A mobile terminal 20 possessed by a customer reads the two-dimensional code (S4), and changes the operation of the mobile terminal 20 in accordance with the recognized operation mode of the information processing device 10 (S5). The mobile terminal also uses the settlement data to transmit a settlement request to a settlement server 30 (S6). The settlement server 30 executes a settlement on the basis of the settlement request and transmits a settlement completion notification to the information processing device 10 (S7). The information processing device 10 completes a transaction related to the registered product when a settlement completion notification is received.
