Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an information recording control device and an information recording control method that enable assured recording of information on a vehicle conducting traveling such as aggressive driving. The information recording control device according to the present invention is provided with: a vehicle-of-interest detection unit that detects, as a vehicle of interest, another vehicle which is present around a host vehicle and which is likely to affect traveling of the host vehicle; a moving body-of-interest recognition unit that recognizes a moving body of interest to which a driver of the host vehicle is paying attention; and a control unit that performs control so as to record information on the vehicle of interest as vehicle-of-interest information when the moving body of interest recognized by the moving body-of-interest recognition unit and the vehicle of interest detected by the vehicle-of-interest detection unit are the same.
