Abstract:
In the present invention, retrieval is targeted at concepts that are difficult to verbalize. A characteristic vector in a concept space is determined from brain activity when an arbitrary concept which a searcher wishes to retrieve is called to mind, and retrieval is performed using an information retrieval query generated from the determined characteristic vector.
