Abstract:
The present invention relates to a releasable ink cartridge for a broad-line inkjet printer. The cartridge includes a sealed housing containing ink, on a side of which housing is an air tube oppositely connecting with the printer, a positioning plate and an ink outlet which is an end port of a self-closing valve outside the ink chamber. An end port of the self-closing valve inside the ink chamber is located at the lower position inside the ink chamber. An end of the air tube outside the housing is the inlet of a check valve, and an end inside the housing is the outlet of the check valve, which is located at the higher position inside the ink chamber. The construction of the ink cartridge is relatively simple, thus makes it possible to simplify the filling process during production and the cleaning and filling process during renovation. Accordingly, the ink bag, which is broken when renovated, can be omitted; the cost and environment pollution can both be reduced.
