Abstract:
Disclosed are: an ink for inkjet printing, which has an excellent fastness and causes
little bleeding on a fiber; and a low-cost inkjet printing method using the ink.
The ink comprises at least one dispersible pigment, a dispersing agent, water
and an organic solvent, wherein the organic solvent comprises at least one compound
represented by the formula (1) (Compound A) and at least one compound selected
from the group consisting of an alkanediol having 3 to 5 carbon atoms and polypropylene
glycol (Compound B'), the total content of Compound A and Compound B'
is 12 to 50% by weight relative to the total amount of the ink, and the ratio between
Compound A and Compound B' is 5:1 to 0.7:1 by weight. (1) wherein n is an integer
of 1 to 12.
