Abstract:
The present invention provides: an ink for inkjet textile printing, which has excellent light resistance, water resistance and fastness to washing; and a textile printing method which uses this ink for inkjet textile printing.
An ink for inkjet textile printing according to the present invention contains at least a dye represented by formula (1) or a salt thereof, water and a water-soluble organic solvent. In formula (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or the like; n represents an integer of 2-4; X represents NR3R4, SR5 or OR6; each of R3 and R4 represents a C2-C6 alkyl group that has a hydroxy group as a substituent, or the like; R5 represents a C2-C6 alkyl group that may have a sulfo group as a substituent, or the like; R6 represents a hydrogen atom or the like; and R7 represents a hydrogen atom or the like.
