Abstract:
An ink-jet ink which comprises water, a water-soluble organic solvent, and particles comprising a polymer P and a polymerizable monomer M, wherein, when the mass of the contained water-soluble organic solvent and the mass of the contained polymerizable monomer M are expressed by Ws and Wm, respectively, then the Ws/Wm ratio is 1.1 or higher and wherein the HSP distance between the water-soluble organic solvent and the polymerizable monomer M, ΔHSP(s-m), is from 15.0 MPa1/2 to 25.0 MPa1/2; and an ink-jet recording method.
