Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide an ink set for printing that has a good color reproduction range. The means for solving the problem is an ink set including a cyan ink and a violet ink, each containing a water-insoluble colorant and water, wherein the cyan ink includes at least a compound represented by formula (1) as a water-insoluble colorant and the violet ink includes at least one selected from the group consisting of C.I. Disperse Violet 27 and C.I. Disperse Violet 28 as a water-insoluble colorant. [In formula (1), R1, R2, and R3 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group, at least two of R1, R2, and R3 are C1-C4 alkyl groups, the total number of carbon atoms in R1, R2, and R3 is 4-12, and X represents an oxygen atom or an imino group.]
