Abstract:
A conveyance belt (8) of an inkjet recording device (100) includes, along the recording medium (P) conveyance direction, a plurality of groups (82) of openings in which openings (80) for passing ink ejected from each of nozzles (18) of recording heads (17a-17c) during flushing are aligned along the belt width direction perpendicular to the recording medium (P) conveyance direction. A control unit (110) determines a supply timing point at which a recording medium (P) is supplied to the conveyance belt (8) in accordance with the size of the recording medium (P) so that, during a single cycle of the conveyance belt (8) in which a plurality of recording medium (P) sheets of minimum size are conveyed, an integral number of recording medium (P) sheets of another size are conveyed, and at the determined supply timing point, causes the recording medium (P) to be supplied from a recording medium supply unit (13) to the conveyance belt (8).
