Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an inner blade for a rotary electric razor, the inner blade being configured so that: the contradictory problems of reducing the rake angle (β) of small blades and increasing the rise angle (α) of the small blades can be solved; hair residue does not remain on one end side of a cross-section of a beard hair; the shaving performance does not degrade; and the sliding resistance between the inner blade and an outer blade does not increase.
The present invention relates to an inner blade (42) for a rotary electric razor (1) that comprises: an outer blade (22) having an annular shaving surface on the upper surface (22a) of the outer blade (22), the shaving surface having a large number of beard hair inlets formed therein; and the inner blade (42) having a plurality of small blades (42A) rotating while being in sliding contact with the lower surface (22b) of the outer blade (22). The small blades (42A) are formed by raising portions of a metal plate so that an angle (α) of the small blades (42A) is an acute angle, the angle (α) facing the front side in the rotational direction and being defined relative to the plate surface (42B) of the metal plate. Also, the small blades (42A) each have a recess (42c) provided on the front side of the small blade (42A) in the rotational direction and shaped by cutting away the portion of the small blade (42A), which extends from the upper end surface (42a) of the small blade (42A) toward the lower end section (42d) thereof, the upper end surface (42a) being in sliding contact with the outer blade (22). An upper edge (42b) defined by the upper end surface (42a) and the recess (42c) is the blade tip.
