Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an input device and operation unit which output signals expressing an operation direction and an on/off state corresponding to an operation quantity. [Solution] Provided is an input device comprising: an operation unit; a movable member which is anchored to the operation unit and which comprises a rotational shaft; a fixed member which rotatably supports the rotational shaft such that the movable member is rotatable; a flexing sensor which is positioned on the operation unit and which detects flexing of the operation unit; a switch which is positioned on either the movable member or the fixed member, which is pressed by a rotation action of the movable member, and which is switched into an on or an off state when the operation unit flexing quantity reaches a prescribed quantity; and a signal processing unit which outputs a control signal based on a first output signal of the flexing sensor and a second output signal of the switch.
