Abstract:
An inserted milling cutter comprises a plurality of blade grooves in the outer periphery of a milling cutter body, back seats received in the blade grooves, blade body pressed against and fixed to rear surfaces of the blade grooves in the direction of rotation by the back seats, and means for fixing the back seats. Means for correcting a change in cutting radius when the faces of the blade body are ground is constituted by a first inclined surface formed on a blade groove bottom surface and a second inclined surface formed on the back seat which abuts against the first inclined surface.
