An installation structure for a split encoder, the structure comprising a housing (1), an encoder rotating shaft (2), a first limiting member (3) and a second limiting member (4); the encoder rotating shaft (2) is installed within the housing (1); an inner side wall of the housing (1) is provided with a first limiting stop (5) used for being clampingly connected to an end of the first limiting member (3), and a first limiting hole that matches a front end of the first limiting member (3) is provided on a side wall of the encoder rotating shaft (2); and the inner side wall of the housing (1) is provided with a second limiting stop (6) used for being clampingly connected to an end of the second limiting member (4), and a second limiting hole that matches a front end of the second limiting member (4) is provided on the side wall of the encoder rotating shaft (2). The first limiting member (3) and the second limiting member (4) are used to limit the rotation direction and axial movement of the encoder rotating shaft (2) so as to ensure that a code disk and so on will not touch other parts, thus avoiding damage during installation, while ensuring the level of visibility of a locking jack screw, and facilitating the installation of the encoder.
