Abstract:
An integrally packaged optical engine and signal transmission and reception methods therefor. The optical engine comprises a molded interconnection device (2), a ceramic substrate (3) embedded within the molded interconnection device (2), a laser chip (9) disposed on the ceramic substrate (3), a photodiode chip (8), an optical driving chip (4), a transimpedance amplifier chip (7), an array lens module (5) and an optical fiber interface (506). The signal transmission method for an optical engine comprises: S1, an external power supply supplies power to an optical driving chip (4); S2, an external signal is transmitted to the optical driving chip (4) so that a laser chip (9) emits an optical signal; and S3, an array lens module (5) carries out total reflection on the optical signal and then transmits the optical signal. The signal reception method for an optical engine comprises: S1, an optical signal enters an optical fiber interface (506); S2, the optical signal enters an array lens module (5); S3, the array lens module (5) sends the optical signal to a photodiode chip (8); S4, the photodiode chip (8) converts the optical signal into an electrical signal and then sends the electrical signal to a transimpedance amplifier chip (7); and S5, the transimpedance amplifier chip (7) transmits the electrical signal to an external circuit.
