An intelligent buried light for a signal-controlled intersection, comprising the three parts of an intelligent buried light body, a video detection module, and a decision-making controller. The video detection module comprises an industrial CCD camera, a PCI video collection card, and a single-board industrial control machine. The decision-making controller determines the safety of a vehicle passing through an intersection according to vehicle speed conditions detected in a video, and controls the light-emitting state of a buried light according to a preset decision-making model, thereby alerting a driver. The intelligent buried light body is installed on a lane stop line, three lights are placed in each lane, and the intelligent buried light body emits light in a single direction and has good waterproof performance. According to vehicle speed and signal phase information, the described intelligent buried light determines whether a driver may safely pass a stop line during a signal transition period, and the driver is alerted by means of the buried light. thus effectively preventing drivers from running red lights and reducing the occurrence of traffic accidents at an intersection.
