Abstract:
An intelligent sorting system and method. The system comprises: a client end server storing ERP data, wherein the ERP data at least comprises an item order and an order sorting plan; a sorting server; and a PLC apparatus, wherein the sorting server is in communication connection with the client end server and the PLC apparatus, acquires identification information of an item to be sorted, searches, on the basis of the item order in the client end server, for an order sorting plan matching the identification information, obtains sorting slot information therefrom, generates a sorting instruction from the obtained sorting slot information, and sends same to the PLC apparatus, and the PLC apparatus receives the sorting instruction sent by the sorting server and controls a sorting apparatus connected thereto to execute the sorting instruction. The intelligent sorting system can automatically acquire ERP data in a client end server, and thus has improved sorting efficiency.
