Abstract:
Disclosed are an inter-frame prediction method and device for a video image. The inter-frame prediction method comprises: obtaining a pixel prediction value of the current affine block; determining one or more brightness compensation blocks according to motion vector(s) of one or more sub-blocks of the current affine block; determining a linear model coefficient according to a first pixel set and a second pixel set, wherein the first pixel set comprises at least one reconstructed pixel adjacent to the edge of the current affine block, the second pixel set comprises at least one reconstructed pixel adjacent to the edge of the one or more brightness compensation blocks, and the pixels in the first pixel set are in one-to-one correspondence with the pixels in the second pixel set; and updating the pixel prediction value of the current affine block according to the linear model coefficient so as to obtain an updated pixel prediction value of the current affine block. According to the solution of embodiments of the present application, the accuracy of inter-frame prediction can be improved.
