Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of communications, and particularly relates to an intermediate-frequency digital signal processing method and device that can reduce the hardware implementation costs of a processing device. The method comprises: digitizing a PHUB so as to carry out functions of combining and distributing intermediate-frequency digital signals; that is, assigning to the PHUB both a downlink processing in which baseband signals are used to generate intermediate-frequency digital signals, and an uplink processing in which intermediate-frequency digital signals are used to generate baseband signals. Thus, FPGA locations in respective pRRUs need not be upgraded according to corresponding standards, frequency bands, and bandwidths, such that software upgrades to already-installed devices can be smoothly achieved without replacing a pRRU, thereby effectively reducing hardware implementation costs. Moreover, the PHUB can be flexibly connected to pPPUs of various standards, frequency bands, and bandwidths, thereby improving system flexibility.
