Abstract:
This internal oxide layer thickness estimation device estimates the thickness of an internal oxide layer formed in a hot-rolled steel sheet, the internal oxide layer thickness estimation device being characterized by comprising: a first temperature defining unit which defines the temperature of a to-be-estimated section, which is a section of an internal oxide layer in a hot-rolled steel sheet and is subjected to internal oxide layer thickness estimation; a second temperature defining unit which defines an internal oxidation start temperature at which internal oxidation of the hot-rolled steel sheet starts; a cumulative temperature calculation unit which calculates a cumulative temperature on the basis of the temperatures defined by the first temperature defining unit and the second temperature defining unit, and a prescribed time from an estimation start time which is the time at which estimation of the thickness of the internal oxide layer starts, to an estimation evaluation time; a first correlation expression derivation unit which derives a first correlation expression indicating the correlation between the cumulative temperature calculated by the cumulative temperature calculation unit and the estimation value of the thickness of the internal oxide layer; and an internal oxide layer thickness estimation unit which estimates the thickness of the internal oxide layer on the basis of the first correlation expression.
