Abstract:
This intraoral examination device (1) for examining the interior of a mouth cavity (3) is provided with: a mouthpiece (10) which forms a mobile region (13) for positioning inside the mouth cavity (3) along a tooth alignment direction (D) in which a plurality of teeth (6) are lined up; a sensor system (40) which, upon receiving a reflection of light projected onto teeth (6) situated in a sensing range within the mouth cavity (3), outputs an examination signal according to the state of said teeth (6); and a drive system (30) which drives the sensor system (40) in the tooth alignment direction (D) within the mobile region (13).
