Abstract:
The present invention provides information on merchandise that can be delivered by a time desired by a customer. An inventory management device that comprises: a management unit that manages inventory information for merchandise held by each of a plurality of mobile sales vehicles; a first reception unit that receives, from each of the plurality of mobile sales vehicles, current location information for the mobile sales vehicle and sales information that indicates merchandise that has been sold at a store; a second reception unit that receives order information that includes information on merchandise ordered on the basis of the inventory information as transmitted to a customer terminal, delivery destination information that indicates a delivery destination for the merchandise, and information that indicates a desired delivery time; a first specifying unit that, on the basis of the current locations of the mobile sales vehicles and of the location of the delivery destination, specifies a mobile sales vehicle that can deliver the merchandise to the delivery destination by the desired delivery time; a first transmission unit that transmits the inventory information held by the specified mobile sales terminal to the customer terminal; and a second transmission unit that transmits the order information to the mobile sales vehicle that is to deliver the ordered merchandise. The management unit updates the inventory information on the basis of the sales information and/or the order information.
