Abstract:
Disclosed are designs for an inverter and a combiner box for reducing the maintenance costs of a photovoltaic device. According to the inverter or the combiner box provided in the embodiments of the present application, when electroluminescent defect detection is performed on a photovoltaic device, a direct current is output, by a reverse charging circuit integrated into the inverter or the combiner box, to a photovoltaic module string to be tested of the photovoltaic device, and it is determined whether a defect exists in the module string to be tested according to the light-emitting condition of the photovoltaic module string to be tested. By means of the design, maintenance personnel do not need to modify a wiring terminal of a photovoltaic device when performing an EL defect test on the photovoltaic device, thus making it possible to reduce the maintenance costs of the photovoltaic device.
