Title:
IONIC LIQUID HAVING METHANOFULLERENE CARBOXYLATE AS ANION, AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/136976
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an ionic liquid having a methanofullerene carboxylate as an anion, and a preparation method thereof. The ionic liquid is comprised of the methanofullerene carboxylate anion and a quaternary ammonium cation. The preparation method comprises: mixing a methanofullerene carboxylic acid with a quaternary ammonium base under the protection of an inert gas to allow a neutralization reaction to occur, and subjecting the resulting product to drying and dehydration treatment to obtain the methanofullerene carboxylate ionic liquid. The methanofullerene carboxylate ionic liquid not only has the characteristics of a common room temperature ionic liquid, but also possesses the characteristics of a water-soluble fullerene and a water-soluble quaternary ammonium. The preparation process is efficient, fast, simple and clean. The product has a high purity and shows promise for a wide range of applications in the fields of biopharmaceuticals and household chemicals.
