CLAIMS
1. Ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of the ironing press, which is characterized by the fact that an extension (4) is placed under the lower surface of ironing press for domestic use (3) on two bases with a sliding mechanism and as it opens and is displaced from the storage position to an extension position, it lengthens the lower surface of ironing press in order to be used also as a common ironing board for its use with a hand iron.
2. Ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of the ironing press according to claim 1 , which is characterized by the fact that it consists of a fixed lower surface of ironing board (3) on a base (10) and an opening upper surface of ironing board (2), controlled by an operation handle (1 ) which allows closing the two surfaces of ironing board for a uniform distribution through pressure for the ironing of the garment.

Ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of the ironing press according to claim 1 , which is characterized by the fact that under the lower plate (3) of the ironing press for domestic use there is an extension plate (4) at which two shafts are placed in a parallel way (6) through the supporting system (7). The two shafts (6) can move on two drives (9) which are stably placed under the ironing plate of ironing press. In addition, under the extension plate (4) there is a supporting system (5) that stabilizes the extension (4) when it is opened and it closes when the extension is at storage position. At the two steady drives (9) there is a tightening system (8) that immobilizes the shafts (6) into the drives (9).
4. Ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of the ironing press according to claim 1 , which is characterized by the fact that, when the ironing press for domestic use is placed in an extension position, there is a blocking mechanism with latch (11) which can immobilize the lower plate (3) and the extension (4) at the same height and it is useful as it allows the extension to stay stable (4) at the same height with the lower surface for ironing in order to use it again only as an ironing press for domestic use, he has to release the latch (11 ) and by pressing downwards to move the extension (4) into the storage position. |
Ironing Press for Domestic Use combined with ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of the ironing press
This invention relates to an ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of the ironing press in a manner such as to allow its use as a common ironing board as well. It consists of a base which has an ironing surface of ironing board and a sliding mechanism that can move between two positions in order for the surface of ironing board to be extended. The sliding mechanism is placed on this base and under the lower surface of ironing press allowing the extension to the lower surface of the ironing press to move from the storage position to an extension position of the surface for ironing.
At this ironing press for domestic use, the extension is connected to the base of the lower surface of ironing press through a sliding mechanism. This disposition allows the extension to move from a storage position to an extension position of the working surface and reversely. A blocking mechanism with a latch is used for the extension to stay stable at the same height with the lower surface of ironing press for domestic use.
When the user wants to change the surface for ironing in order to use it again only as an ironing press for domestic use, he has to release the latch and by pressing downwards to move the extension into the storage position.
The advantages of this ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of ironing press are mainly practical, since the use of the ironing press for domestic use is very simple as well as the fact that it can be changed into a common ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of the ironing press
Other advantages will also appear in the following description, with reference to the drawings attached showing schematically as an example, a way of performing operation, which is the object of this invention.
Drawing 1 is the upper view of the ironing press with the extension closed. Drawing 2 is the upper view of the ironing press with the extension opened. Drawing 3 is the front view of the ironing press with the extension closed. Drawing 4 is the front view of the ironing press with the extension opened. Drawing 5 is the lower view of the ironing press with the extension closed. Drawing 6 is the lower view of the ironing press with the extension opened.
Proceeding now to the detailed description of the ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of the ironing press, drawing 3 saws that it consists of an operation handle (1 ) which is placed on the upper plate (2) of ironing press for domestic use allowing the upper plate of ironing press to open and close, of a lower plate of ironing press (3) which is the surface for ironing and a base (10) on which is based the lower plate of ironing press.
By analyzing the present invention, under the lower plate (3) of ironing press for domestic use there is an extension plate (4) at which two shafts are placed in a parallel way (6) through the supporting system (7). The two shafts (6) can move on two drives (9) which are stably placed under the ironing plate of ironing press. In addition, under the extension plate (4) there is a supporting system (5) that stabilizes the extension (4) when it is opened and it closes when the extension is at storage position. At the two steady drives (9) there is a tightening system (8) that immobilizes the shafts (6) into the drives (9). Moreover, in order to achieve the complete alignment and stabilization of the lower plate (3) and the extension (4) when the latter is placed in an extension position, there is a system with latch (11) which can immobilize the lower plate (3) and the extension (4) at the same height.
When the user wants to iron difficult points as well as a garment of a large surface which can not be ironed using an ironing press for domestic use, with the present invention he can change the ironing press for domestic use into a common ironing board for use with a hand iron.
It is very clearly proved that the present invention, that is ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board through an extension to the lower surface of ironing press fully achieves the predetermined objects and advantages, but it should be pointed out that many modifications, additions, changes or/and components' replacements can be made to it without such appliance being out of the patent's protection, as defined in the attached claims.
