Abstract:
The present invention provides an Ising model calculation device that enables selective output of a solution having a given quality from among solutions obtained through calculation, by providing an evaluation index for calculation accuracy of the Ising model calculation device independently of an inputted problem. In the Ising model calculation device: a coupling coefficient obtained by combining a coupling coefficient, of an Ising model, corresponding to a problem to be solved and a coupling coefficient, of the Ising model, corresponding to a checking problem, is set as a coupling coefficient to be used for calculating an interaction; determination is made as to whether a calculation value corresponding to a check spin among calculation values calculated by using multiple optical pulses is suitable as a solution to the checking problem; and, only when the calculation value is found suitable as the solution to the checking problem as a result of the determination, a calculation value other than the calculation value corresponding to the check spin among the obtained calculation values, is outputted as a solution to the problem to be solved.
