Abstract:
Provided is an isolator for which the sterilization time can be shortened to improve work efficiency, and which can have an ensured sterility assurance level. An isolator provided with an operation room, a front door arranged on a front face of the operation room, and globes arranged at the front door, wherein clean air is supplied to the operation room through an HEPA filter by means of a circulating fan located above the operation room, and wherein the isolator is further provided with an air supply unit which can purify the air, which has been taken through an airtight damper for air supply use by means of an air supply fan, through an air supply HEPA filter and supply the purified air into the isolator during operation, and the air supply unit is so configured as to circulate the air in the isolator through a sterilization gas removal catalyst by means of the air supply fan during the removal of a sterilization gas.
