Abstract:
A customisable jewellery item (10) comprising a body (12) having an aperture (14) for receiving in use a lug (16) forming part of an interchangeable ornamental part (18), wherein the body further comprises: a cavity (20) for receiving the lug when inserted through the aperture and for allowing at least partial movement of the lug in a first direction; a stop (22) to prevent rotation of the lug within the cavity; a lug recess (24) proximal the stop for holding the lug; and a resilient member (26) which in use acts upon the lug to hold the lug in the lug recess.
