Description:
TITLE OF THE INVENTION

Jewelry-Footwear.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[001] A group of inventions related to the field of foot wear and fashion, for comfort and decoration of the foot-leg-thigh -hip-waist of the wearer, particularly, an interchangeable jewelry ensemble comprising of the "jewelry kit" and the "jewelry footwear".

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[002] Jewelry (British English) or jewelry (American English) consists of decorative items worn for personal adornment. Jewels were always part of human culture. Even from the times when humans first started using clothes and tools some 100.000 years ago, jewels were produced from any kind of materials that were available - stones, animal skins, feathers, plants, seed beads, bones, shells, wood, and natural made semi-precious materials such as obsidian. Beads may be made of glass, gemstones, metal, wood, shells, clay and polymer clay.

[003] As the time went on, advancing technology enabled artisans to start taming metals and precious gems into works of art that influenced entire cultures and many modern jewelry styles. However, even with all advancements of metallurgy and gem processing, the purpose of wearing jewelry always remained the same - they enabled wearer to express himself non -verbally, showcase wealth, rank, political and religious affiliation or affections toward someone. This enabled jewelry to become timeless and a target for constant development and refinement.

[004] Thousands of years of advancement enabled jewelry to spread from the exclusive art form of the rich to the common personal items of adornment; functional, generally to fix clothing or hair in place, or to tell the time (in the case of watches); as a marker of social status and personal status, as with a wedding ring; as a signifier of some form of affiliation, whether ethnic, religious or social; to provide talismanic protection (in the form of amulets); as a carrier or symbol of personal meaning - such as love, mourning, or even luck; as an artistic display

[005] Today, jewelry is used by everyone around the world to express themselves in various visual fashionable ways; the fingers are decorated with rings, the ears with earrings, the neck with necklaces and pendants, the arms and ankles with bracelets, but decoration for the foot-calf-thigh-hip-waist was unheard of, until I created the Jewelry assembly in the application No 15/276,924 filed at the USPTO on 9.26.20016, titled "Foot-leg-thigh-hip Jewellery Assembly" which was later called the "Jewelry Kit" assembly by the USPTO examiner Emily Morgan, simplifying and shortening the invention's name.

[006] The said "Jewelry Kit" assembly, presented to the USPTO, was inspired by the barefoot sandals, the high thigh stocking and garters, popular in the 1930s and 1940s, that, apart from being a fancy wearable item, doubled as a small purse to carry small valuables for ladies. The foot segment of the "Jewelry Kit" assembly can be worn with or without shoes, but it is hard to match the fancy jewelry with any shoes, therefore the "Jewelry Kit" assembly needs its matching decorative shoe sole.

[007] Majority of footwear currently available, comprises a "one piece" base with an attached strap or band, that engages the foot of a wearer in various places, thereby, securing the sandal. Furthermore, these sandals are routinely manufactured with the straps or bands in fixed places along the base of the sandal, thus making it impossible to place the straps/bands in alternative positions, or replace or exchange the straps/bands for matching to a particular outfit or occasion, therefore the "Jewelry Kit" assembly needed a fastening apparatus in the shoe sole to secure the jewelry to the foot. Therefore, this process of fastening the jewelry kit to an apparatus was specifically designed for carrying out the said process, giving birth to the "Interchangeable Shoe Sole".

[008] The other issue with woman shoes, is that conventional high heel sandals suffer from the usual rigidity of restricted blood flow in the feet, besides being uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. Apart from this problem, certain other problems are also encountered, due to the excessive usage of high heels for long periods, some of which are skeletal and muscular problems which results in pain and fatigue in the legs and provokes venous hypertension in the lower limbs.

[009] Another problem of the high heels, is that stiletto heels concentrate a large amount of force within a small area. The great pressure by such a heel, can cause damage to carpets and floors. The stiletto heel, unless equipped with a "heel stopper", can be impractical for outdoor wear on soft ground (such as grass, sand or mud), or in environments where floor damage is unacceptable (Lino/soft wood floors in a household or on aircraft). Due to the impracticality the usage of high heels for extended periods, a need to provide a solution to the above problems is imperative.

[0010] Shoes for women, with a plurality of interchangeable heels, in which shoes can change from high heels to flats in seconds, where the heels just click off and click back on, already exist, but those inventions are not intended to be jewelry, and the assembling system of just snapping on the sides won't work for the "Jewelry Kit" assembly either.

[0011] An "Interchangeable Heel System " specifically designed to carry out the decorative "Jewelry Kit" assembly and "Interchangeable Shoe Sole System" doesn't exist. Every woman will be very excited to have the possibility of wearing the "Jewelry Kit" assembly for decorating their feet up to their hips, in which they can switch from high heels to comfortable flats, before or after the party, but the process of exchanging the heels needs an apparatus or means specifically designed to carry out the said process. This is how the "Interchangeable heels system" was invented, to carry out both the "Jewelry Kit" assembly and the "Interchangeable Shoe Sole System" all in one "decorative, comfortable and interchangeable jewelry ensemble".

[0012] The present invention, the "Jewelry-Footwear", relates to a group of inventions, "carving out" from the "Foot-leg-thigh-hip Jewelry assembly" or parent invention, wherein, the "Jewelry Kit" assembly can be connected and matched to a "Jewelry-Footwear", comprised of an "Interchangeable Shoe Sole System" in the midsole and a "Interchangeable Heel System " on the outsole, specifically designed as "attachment and interchangeable apparatus" for securing the straps or bands to the base of the shoe sole, allowing the straps or bands to be placed in different configurations on the shoe sole, as well as having the pleasure of wearing the decorative "Jewelry Kit" assembly, while switching the comfortable flats to the high heels with the "interchangeable apparatus" or "Interchangeable Heel System ".

[0013] The "Jewelry Kit" assembly, the "Interchangeable Shoe Sole System" and the "Interchangeable Heel System" are designed with the same corresponding "decorative, comfortable and interchangeable all in one ensemble" features, wherein, the midsole and outsole or "Jewelry Footwear" decorated with jewels and a secret compartment with a lock, a key and a crown sole of colourful wires to hang bangles, charms, pendants, ornaments, which maintains continuity with an entire collection of jewelry from the toes up to the hips-waist, making all together, one "decorative, comfortable, interchangeable jewelry ensemble".
