Abstract:
The present invention provides a joint for a drainage hose capable of eliminating unfavorable conditions related to the drainage hose, and a washing machine. The joint (6) for a drainage hose comprises: an upstream cylinder part (21) extending to a front side (Y1) in a front-rear direction (Y); a downstream cylinder part (22) extending to the front side (Y1) and connected to a drainage hose (5); and a middle cylinder part (23) for connecting the upstream cylinder part (21) to the downstream cylinder part (22). The upstream cylinder part (21) is inserted into an outlet (16) for drainage in the rear wall (12) of a box body (2) of a washing machine (1). The middle cylinder part (23) has a straight-line portion (23A) in an up-down direction (Z) intersecting the front-rear direction (Y).
