Abstract:
A kinesthetic sense provision device, which provides a kinesthetic sense by forming a mechanical distribution on human skin, is provided with a plurality of stimulation elements and a control unit. Each of the plurality of stimulation elements applies stimulation to the human skin. The control unit controls the plurality of stimulation elements so as to form, on the skin, a mechanical distribution which creates a target kinesthetic sense. The spacing between adjacent stimulation elements is a spacing that allows provision of a spatially continuous kinesthetic sense. The kinesthetic sense generates a sensation of self-movement for a person.
