Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a laminate capable of suppressing interference unevenness caused by the reflection at each interface between a horizontally-aligned liquid crystal cured film, an adhesive layer, and a vertically-aligned liquid crystal cured film. Provided is a laminate that includes a horizontally-aligned liquid crystal cured film, an adhesive layer, and a vertically-aligned liquid crystal cured film in this order and in which the in-plane refractive index of the adhesive layer and the in-plane refractive index of the vertically-aligned liquid crystal cured film satisfy the relationship represented by the following expression (1). (1): |((n2x + n2y) / 2) − ((n3x + n3y) / 2)| ≤ 0.03 [where n2x denotes a refractive index at a wavelength λ nm in a direction that creates the maximum refractive index in the plane of the adhesive layer, n2y denotes a refractive index at the wavelength λ nm in a direction perpendicular to the direction of n2x in the same plane as n2x, n3x denotes a refractive index at the wavelength λ nm in a direction that creates the maximum refractive index in the plane of the vertically-aligned liquid crystal cured film, and n3y denotes a refractive index at the wavelength λ nm in a direction perpendicular to the direction of n3x in the same plane as n3x.]
