Abstract:
A lamp to be introduced into an object, in particular for decontamination of said object, having a tube (1) with first and second ends (11, 12), two electrodes (21, 22) fixed in the tube at each of the ends thereof, and an electrical device (2) for supplying the electrodes. The two electrodes have different lengths, one (21) of short length and the other (22) of great length, the electrode (22) of great length extending over a tube length (L1) and having an electrode end (23) bearing against the inner wall of the tube (1) at a distance from said second tube end (12). The lamp also has at least one radial support element (41, 42, 3) fitted around said tube length (L1) and having at least two peripheral contacts, on said tube (1), which are spaced apart from each other by a distance at least twice the diameter of said tube (1).
