Abstract:
Provided are: a socketed lamp unit in which defects in light distribution caused by deformation of a socket part are suppressed; a vehicular lamp equipped with the lamp unit; and a method for manufacturing a lamp unit in which defects in light distribution caused by deformation of a socket part are suppressed. A lamp unit (100) characterized by being provided with a light source part (20) and a socket part (10) in which the light source part (20) is mounted, and moreover characterized in that: the socket part (10) is provided with a light-source-holding part (14) that holds the light source part (20), and a connector part (12) that supplies electric power to the light source part (20); and the light-source-holding part (14) is equipped with a recess (40) that extends from an outer side to directly below the light source part (20) along a mounting surface of the light source part (20).
