The present invention provides a landing for a conveyor for transport of persons, configured in a manner that facilitates attachment of a manhole cover and can prevent deformation of a combplate decorative panel. With regards to the landing for a conveyor for transport of persons according to the present invention, the combplate thereof comprises a combplate decorative panel and a combplate back plate disposed integrally with the combplate decorative panel in a state protruding in the direction of the manhole cover below the combplate decorative panel, wherein a manhole-cover receiving portion is formed by the portion of the combplate back plate that protrudes from the combplate decorative panel in the direction of the manhole cover. The manhole cover thereof comprises a manhole-cover decorative panel and a manhole-cover back plate disposed integrally with the manhole-cover decorative panel below the manhole-cover decorative panel, wherein a manhole-cover mounting portion is formed by the end of the manhole-cover back plate nearest to the combplate. A chamfered portion is formed on the upper corner of the side of the manhole-cover receiving portion nearest to the manhole cover and/or the lower corner of the side of the manhole-cover mounting portion nearest to the combplate.
