Abstract:
A large torque starter motor comprises an outer casing (1), a turbine wheel (3) and a guide wheel (4). On the outer casing there is at least one electromagnetic pump (2) which is composed of a hollow pump shell (7), electrodes (5) and magnets (6). There are openings arranged on the two ends of the pump shell (7), and the electrodes (5) and magnets (6) are both arranged on the pump shell (7). When working, direct current power is firstly supplied to the electromagnetic pump (2) and the electric field is controlled to match with the magnetic field. Then conductive fluid comes into the electromagnetic pump (2) and is accelerated by the cooperation of the electric field and the magnetic field. After that, the accelerated conductive fluid is poured from the electromagnetic pump (2) and drives the turbine wheel (3) to rotate. The conductive fluid subsequently flows into the guide wheel (4) after passing through the turbine wheel (3). At last, the conductive fluid flows into the electromagnetic pump (2) again by the guidance of the guide wheel (4) for another circulation.
