Abstract:
The present invention: makes it possible to recognize a nozzle to be mounted, prevent an incorrect nozzle from being mounted, and address automation of nozzle mounting; and reduces the amount of time for mounting a nozzle. Provided is a laser processing machine (1) for processing a workpiece (W), wherein the laser processing machine (1) includes: a hollow processing head (3) that has an exchangeable nozzle (13), a laser beam for processing the workpiece (W) being guided and emitted from the nozzle (13); an image-capturing unit (6) for obtaining, through the inside of the processing head (3), an image of the nozzles (13) held in a nozzle-accommodating unit (5) in which a plurality of nozzles (13) are arranged; and a nozzle identifying unit (41) for recognizing the nozzle type from the image of the nozzles (13) obtained by the imaging unit (6).
