Abstract:
A laundry system (1) and a server (20). The laundry system (1) is provided with: the server (20), capable of communicating with a terminal device (30) via an external communication network (50); and a washing machine (10), capable of communicating with the server (20) via the external communication network (50). The terminal device (30) reads two-dimensional codes (704) from RFID tags (70) mounted on garments to acquire identification information, accepts the input of garment information of the garments on which the RFID tags (70) having the acquired identification information are mounted, and transmits to the server (20). When the identification information is received from the washing machine (10), the server (20) transmits the garment information corresponding to the identification information to the washing machine (10). The washing machine (10), by utilizing an RFID reader (105), reads the identification information wirelessly transmitted from the RFID tags (70), transmits the identification information to the server (20), and performs a washing operation on the basis of the garment information received from the server (20).
