Abstract:

A lean duplex stainless steel having excellent bending processability is disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the lean duplex stainless steel comprises, by wt%, 0.01-0.06% of C, 0.2-1.0% of Si, 3.5-6.5% of Mn, 18.5-22.5% of Cr, 0.05-0.25% of N, and the balance of iron (Fe) and other inevitable impurities, wherein Cr + Mn is 26.0-28.5% and Cr/Mn is 3.4-4.1.
