Abstract:
Provided is an LED display device that allows for easy maintenance, is capable of suppressing the deterioration in quality of a video to be displayed, and, even when an index that affects the dimension of an LED assembly varies, is capable of minimizing the damage and deformation of the LED assembly and suppressing the deterioration in quality of a video to be displayed. A plurality of LED assemblies is arrayed. A plurality of LEDs is arrayed at a first pitch in each LED assembly. First LEDs are arranged along an adjacent LED assembly. The first LEDs provided in each LED assembly and the first LEDs provided in the adjacent LED assembly are arrayed at a second pitch wider than the first pitch across each LED assembly and the adjacent LED assembly. A video signal is subjected to a first correction based on the above-described index and a second correction for increasing the luminance of the first LEDs so as to be higher than the luminance of second LEDs other than the first LEDs. The plurality of LEDs is driven in accordance with the corrected video signal.
