Abstract:
This lens control device is provided with: a processor for performing control for causing an image sensor to perform imaging respectively with regard to first wavelength region light and second wavelength region light, thereby generating image data respectively with regard to the first wavelength region light and the second wavelength region light; and a memory. The processor: estimates a first focal position of a focus lens with regard to the first wavelength region light on the basis of a first focal assessment value established in accordance with the image data of the first wavelength region; estimates a second focal position of the focus lens with regard to the first wavelength region light on the basis of a second focal assessment value established in accordance with the image data of the second wavelength region; and performs control for moving the focus lens along an optical axis on the basis of the first focal position if a result of comparison from comparing the first focal position and the second focal position meets an established condition.
