Abstract:
Provided are a lens design method, a lens design device, a computer program, and a lens with which it is possible to improve chromatic aberration in an entire desired field of view. In this lens design method, a processor: accepts setting of incident light that that is incident on each of a plurality of segments arranged adjacent to each other in a manner following a plurality of lens elements; specifies, on the basis of an optical path when the incident light that is incident at each incidence point reaches a desired position on an image surface in each of the segments, a vector of refracted light arising when the incident light is refracted for each incidence point; and determines an incidence surface shape of each of the lens elements on the basis of the specified vectors.
