Abstract:
The present invention prevents generation of glare light. A lens (30) of a vehicular headlight (100) is mounted on a vehicle, said lens (30) of the vehicular headlight (100) being provided with an incident surface (31) on which light from a light source (10) is incident and an emission surface (32) from which light that was incident on the incident surface (31) is emitted. An upper edge region (32a) including the upper edge of the emission surface (32) when in an on-board state is so shaped that of the light incident on the incident surface (31), light which reaches the upper edge region (32a) by being internally reflected toward the emission surface (32) side by the incident surface (31) after being internally reflected toward the incident surface (31) side by the emission surface (32) is internally reflected rearward in the on-board state.
