Abstract:
[Solution] A lifting and lowering conveyance device (1) is able to convey an article (3) between a plurality of delivery positions. The lifting and lowering conveyance device (1) is provided with a plurality of conveyance units (11). Each of the conveyance units (11) is provided with a lifting and lowering table (15), a linear motor (16), and a chain (17). The lifting and lowering table (15) is able to pass through the plurality of delivery positions by moving along an orbit (20) that is common to the plurality of conveyance units (11). The linear motor (16) generates a driving force for causing the lifting and lowering table (15) to move along the orbit (20). The chain (17) is a loop-shaped member capable of circulating along a circulation track corresponding to the orbit (20), and cause the lifting and lowering table (15) to move by circulating through the driving force generated by the linear motor (16). The circulation of the chain (17) in the corresponding conveyance unit (11) is controlled independently of the other conveyance units (11).
