Abstract:
A light distribution module design method for LED lamps is provided. The light distribution module comprises a substrate, LED chips encapsulated on the substrate, a light beam shaping expander (30), and a uniform light bunching reflector (20). The light beam shaping expander (30) is provided with an incident surface (32) and an emergent surface (37) which are oppositely arranged. The method comprises the steps of determining the position of the LED chips and the uniform light bunching reflector (20), dividing an equiluminous surface formed by light emitted from the LED chips after passing the uniform light bunching reflector (20) into a plurality of grids, dividing an irradiated road surface into a plurality of grids with the same quantity as the equiluminous surface, determining the maximum emergent angle of light emitted from the LED chips after passing the uniform light bunching reflector (20), calculating the shapes of the curved surface of the incident surface (32) and the emergent surface (37) of the beam shaping expander (30) according to the refractive index of the material of the beam shaping expander (30). The light distribution module of the LED lamps designed by the method enables the emergent light to form a rectangular facula with uniform illumination according to road surface requirements, at the same time, the emergent light after passing through the beam shaping expander (30) is comfortable for human eyes and avoids dazzling.
