Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a light emitting device which, in a direct-type backlight, can provide a batwing-shaped light distribution from light-emitting elements by using a reflective film, without the use of a lens, and can prevent warping of a substrate on which the light emitting elements are mounted. The problem is solved by the following: including light emitting elements, a reflective layer, a wavelength-selective reflective film, and an adhesive layer for affixing the wavelength-selective reflective film; the light emitting elements having a center light emission wavelength in the range 350–460 nm; the wavelength-selective reflective film containing an organic material; and the center wavelength of selective reflection being ±20 nm of the center light emission wavelength of the light emitting elements.
